Five ideas on what to do with your loved and precious baby photographs!
Print your baby photographs..part 1 yes there is part 2 also!
Hi! I’m Victoria Burcusel, a newborn photographer in Brisbane and today I’m going to talk with you about what to do with your baby photographs.
When you are making the decision to print your photographs, there are a few things that you should consider.
First, what size print do you want?
Second, what type of photograph do you want?
Third, how many copies do you need?
Fourth, what frame would best showcase your photo?
Fifth, where would this photograph look best in your home or office?
Sixth, is this something that others will see and enjoy or is it just for yourself?
Seventh, what is your budget for printing and framing the photo(s)?
Eighth (and just as important), where will you get your photos printed and framed?
In todays post I will start with five suggestions for you—which one you choose is up to you, but I think all of them would be a good choice for your growing family. Keep an eye on the page as part 2 will follow up with more ideas on what to do with your baby photographs
Make a photo book
Making a photo book is a great way to preserve your memories. You can create one using paper and scissors and glue, or you can use software. There are many different ways to make a photo book offline and online. I would recommend using MyPublisher or Shutterfly if you want it done for you, or printing the pictures out yourself on card stock and creating your own scrapbook.
Photo books are lovely to share with friends and family as gifts, because they contain photos of your family’s history that anyone would love to see! They can be printed by companies who will put them together for you, or on your home computer if you’re up for the challenge of doing it yourself. Photo books are great because they allow you to look back at all of your baby photographs in one place instead of in loose-leaf binders filled with old magazines from 1997 and other random junk.
In my photography studio I use to create story albums and these are so precious to look over especially when you have your family visiting. Create a baby photo album today!

Create a photo collage
A really fun way to display your baby photos is to create a collage. There are a lot of free tools you can use to create photo collages online. I like this one: https://www.fotor.com/app.html#/collage
You can choose a theme that expresses how you feel about your baby, like ‘baby smiles’. Then, you can choose the layout that best fits your number of photos and how you’d like them arranged on the page. Once you’re done arranging your photos, you can save it or even share it with friends and family! This method also works if you have printed pictures of your baby instead of digital ones. Give it a try!

Customize your photo
You can still create custom frames for your photos. It’s a simple process and you are only limited by your imagination. If you’re having a special occasion, such as a birthday, anniversary, or wedding, custom framing is the way to go. You can also use it for personal use if you want to make your computer or mobile phone wallpaper more unique. Or maybe you want to give someone else a one-of-a-kind gift! You can do that too! Your options are limitless when it comes to customized frames for pictures.

Photo art is one way to create unique gifts for friends and family. It’s easy, fun and personal!
Photo art is another way to give a unique gift. It’s easy, fun and personal. Making photo art with your photos is very simple. You can do it on the computer or with paints and paper. Computer software makes it simple for anyone to create great photo art in minutes!
Use them as cards
You don’t have to wait until your baby grows up and gets married to use these photographs. For example, you can use the photos as greeting cards. The great thing is that you have a variety of options when it comes to creating greeting cards using baby photos. You can use online templates or design your own card from scratch.
If you’re using an online template, choose one that suits the occasion. For instance, if you want to create a birthday card for your dad, select a template with “Happy Birthday” written on it and upload your favorite baby photo in the designated area.
If you’re designing the card from scratch, start by selecting a color for the background, text font and text color (you may want to go with white paper with black text if it’s a formal invitation).
Next, find an appropriate photo of your baby wearing something cute or doing something adorable – like pulling himself up on his hands or shoving food into his mouth – then insert it into the document and resize as necessary. Finally, add some text based on your reason for creating the card: “Happy Birthday Grandpa” or “We’re Having a Baby.”
